Are you an Artist?

Tracing Tea is recruiting it's final team member - we're looking for someone to co-ordinate community art projects throughout the expedition, as well as contributing to the book. Please email Ian if you are interested in applying.

Local contacts

On an expedition of this sort local knowledge is essential, and as such we are currently building up a library of information and contacts along our route. The seven team members will collaborate with students from local universities to increase the capacity of the team. If you live on or have experience of any of the countries we will be travelling through, or indeed have advice of any sort please do get in touch with Andrew.

The team is also planning an event in London at the end of March to present the project in detail, if you would be interested in attending please contact Ian.

Smaller Sponsorship Opportunities

If you would like to contribute to Tracing Tea by sponsoring a particular event or piece of kit then here is your chance. From community project to vehicle spares, there's a chance for everyone to take part in this exciting and ambitious expedition. If you want to sponsor an activity that's not listed below, please get in touch.

A Community Art Project

Your money will pay for materials for one of the art projects during the expedition. Done in conjunction with communities and groups, it will provide an excellent opportunity for the team to get to know and work with people living along the old trading routes, as well as share a cup of tea or two.

Wheels For A Rickshaw

Travelling 15,000 miles across some of the toughest roads is sure to take its toll on the tuk-tuks. You can help by providing a set of wheels of one vehicle.

Feed The Team

Taking on an expedition like Tracing Tea is bound to give the team a good appetite. Paying for the teams food for a day will be an important contribution to the success of the project.

A Carbon Neutral Expedition

The Tracing Tea expedition will be doing it's bit to avoid climate change. You can help by offsetting the carbon dioxide produced by one vehicle for the duration of the trip.

£30

Fill The Fuel Tank

The autorickshaws have a 10 litre fuel tank - this will give the vehicle a range of around 200 km, or half a day's driving.
